About HACC

The Aurukun Community Home Help – Chivaree Centre – is the approved provider of community aged care and disability services in Aurukun. The Shire receives funding from both the State and Commonwealth Government to provide services to younger people with disabilities and frail aged people and their carers.

We offer services to eligible clients under the Community Home Care and Commonwealth Home Support Programme and Home Care Packages, depending on client needs and required assistance to allow them to stay at home and continue to live independently in their community.
