About Melbourne Heart Institute

Melbourne Heart Institute is a group of heart specialists who will be providing a range of cardiac services serving the North West Region of Melbourne. Our aim is to achieve better cardiovascular health of the people in the northwest region of Melbourne.

Our doctors admit patients to several private hospitals, including Melbourne Private Hospital, Epworth Hospital Richmond, Epworth Freemasons Hospital, Epworth Eastern, Western Private Hospital and Cabrini Hospital. All of our doctors support the public hospital system and most are members of the Cardiology Department of the Western Health and Northern Health.

All our doctors have expertise in all areas of cardiology including the urgent management of patients with chest pain or arrhythmias and the long-term management of patients with chronic cardiac conditions. We are active in education of medical students, trainee doctors and throughout the wider medical profession. We see patients from the local area and from regional and rural locations.
