About Botanical Kate Sice
When Kate Sice began to daydream about opening another flower shop, her vision was to supply Hobart with stylish, simple flowers, beautifully presented with a classic edge.
Kate has over 20 years experience in the flower industry, owning and operating flower shops in Western Australia and Tasmania within this time. After a few years working in hospitality & event co ordination her passion for flowers and all things botanical could no longer be hidden.
Botanical’s seed was firmly planted when the shop front Kate had longed for became available. Within a space of three days, the little rundown shop, with the most gorgeous pressed tin ceiling, was hers. After four weeks of thoughtful and dedicated restoration, 139 Macquarie Street is now the home of Botanical – a quirky flower studio in Hobart’s historical CBD. Botanical encompasses all things botanical and beautiful; a place to create and discover.
