About Beechworth Wine Estates

Beechworth Wine Estates is a boutique vineyard located at Baarmutha 4km from the beautiful historical town of Beechworth. The property is situated on 53 acres, half of which has established vines planted. Purchasing the land in 2003 we started from scratch and have created the family run and owned business we have today. From our humble beginnings BWE has made a name for itself with Gold medals at the Royal Melbourne Wine Awards for our Chardonnay 2015 and Tempranillo 2015.

We believe that wine is made in the vineyard and essentially the grapes speak for themselves creating winemaking of consistent high quality that reflects the beautiful cool climate of the Beechworth region, giving you wines to taste and enjoy throughout the BWE range.

All vines are cane pruned with all italian varieties being arched caned and our grapes are handpicked. Our wines are made with low intervention and the use of sulphides are kept to a minimum.
